Benny La Mar

Benny La Mar is a singer-songwriter originally from Pacifica, California, now based in Nashville. His music pulls from folk and indie-rock, creating a version of Americana that’s all his own.

He taught himself guitar at 13 and spent years playing whatever he could. Everything from DIY punk shows to coffee shops and bars up and down the California coast. In 2022 Benny made the move to Nashville. He quickly picked up residencies along Lower Broadway, playing iconic venues like The Stage on Broadway, Category 10, The Second Fiddle and many more.

In January 2024 he released his debut EP West To South, a collection of songs written in California and in his first months in Nashville. Benny is currently in the studio working on his next batch of songs slated to release this winter.
